Loretta Smith is Vice President/Director of Corporate Communications of Interep, the nation’s largest independent advertising sales and marketing company specializing in radio, the Internet, television and complementary media.

Smith has been in the radio industry for over 23 years.  She began her career as a sales assistant for McGavren Guild Radio and then moved into the corporate division working with Interep’s President/COO. She was later asked to join the company’s marketing and communications department as Manager of Corporate Events and Internal Communications.  Throughout her tenure, Smith has coordinated many of the company’s industry and agency radio marketing initiatives, helped establish Interep’s long-time employee recognition program, Chairman Circle Awards, and initiated and fostered the growth of Interep’s well-established intern program.  She was named to her current position of Vice President/Director of Corporate Communications in September 2006.

Smith is a member of American Women in Radio and Television, International Radio and Television Society, and Meeting Planners International (MPI).
