Sherman Kizart Named to Radio Ink's 2007 Roster of Most Influential African-Americans in Radio

Each year, Radio Ink chooses its list of the Most Influential African-Americans in Radio - and once again Interep's Sherman Kizart, Senior Vice President of Urban Marketing, made the elite group of honorees!

Dave Kennedy, CEO of Interep, said, “Diversity in all its forms - from multicultural marketing, to fostering an inclusive work environment - is a very high priority for Interep. We are very proud that Sherman has been chosen for this honor and applaud his efforts to continue to educate advertisers on Urban marketing and the importance of the African-American community within an ever-diversifying population. On behalf of Interep, we congratulate Sherman on this award.

”Interep said that despite this steep increase, short form spots still comprise only about 10% of its total billing, with :30s representing about 7%. This compares to a recent report by BMO Capital Markets stating that 30-second spots comprised 19.9% of total radio commercial time in January 2007.
