Dean Canter Joins CBS Radio Sales as Vice President/General Manager

CBS Radio Sales, an Interep company, announced today that Dean Canter has joined the company as Vice President/General Manager. Canter joins CBS Radio Sales from MOVIN 93.9 in Los Angeles, where he was General Sales Manager.

In his new position, Canter will oversee CBS Radio Sales’ offices in San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles. He reports to Jana Cosgrove, President, CBS Radio Sales.

“Dean is a highly respected, 20-year radio veteran who is a tremendous addition to our team,” Cosgrove said. “His deep knowledge of the west coast markets, combined with his outstanding leadership skills, will help take our efforts to a new level on behalf of client stations.”

Canter began his radio career at KWNK in 1989, where he rose to Local Sales Manager before joining KGIL/KMGX as an Account Executive. He later joined Interep in 1994, rising to the position of Vice President/Director of Sales for CBS Radio. In 2006, Canter made the career decision to return to the station side and joined KZLA, where he remained until being named to his current position.
