Cherry Creek Radio Agrees to House all Stations with Interep's Local Focus and McGavren Guild Radio Sales

Interep announced today that Cherry Creek Radio has signed an agreement to move all of their radio station properties under the Interep umbrella between Local Focus and McGavren Guild Radio.    Currently, McGavren Guild radio represents the Cherry Creek stations in 4 markets.  This multi-year agreement expands representation to ten markets between Local Focus and McGavren Guild.

Kay Olin, President, Local Focus, said, “Local Focus is thrilled to have Cherry Creek Radio on board. We are a great match because of our reps’ skills in positioning the value of the mid-to-small markets and their stations’ strengths."

Lisa Sirotka-Sonnenklar, President, McGavren Guild Radio, added, "We are very excited to add even more Cherry Creek Broadcasting markets to our family of stations. McGavren Guild is proud to be the true, national representation firm for the independent broadcast owners across America and we can't wait to get to work immediately for Joe Schwartz and his team.

Joe Schwartz, President & CEO, Cherry Creek Radio, said, “Cherry Creek Radio feels strongly that national sales is an important area of development for small market radio. We recently hired
Debra Winans to lead that effort, and consolidating all of our national sales with Interep’s Local Focus and McGavren Guild is a vital step in growing this part of our business."
